I'm Zoë, a product designer and front-end developer based in Sydney, Australia.
As an empath with a visual arts background, I fell in love with product design because it allowed me to use creative tools to find solutions to user-behaviour related puzzles. I've been fortunate enough to do this for a living, and have spent the last six years helping to deliver digital products for some incredible tech startups.
Working in highly collaborative, lean teams has meant I've become well accustomed to wearing many hats - jumping between UX/UI design, marketing, operations, project management and programming - participating in every phase of a project from inception to implementation. It's trained me to be able to focus on creating pixel-perfect work while never losing sight of my overall mission.
While this has shaped me into a design generalist, I'm a highly organised systems-thinker and am particularly interested in building scalable products built on solid foundations.
Besides design, I'm always seeking out new experiences and get my kicks out of making sure everyone is having a good time - you'll typically find me lining up tunes as the resident office DJ, scouring the web for fun local events, and planning day trip adventures.
